Nothing is quite what you plan

Since I first created this, life happened.  My son-in-law had two surgeries, one of which could have been serious.  (But thankfully wasn’t.) I had ‘planned’ to be totally done with the book by the end of August and didn’t complete a draft of the last chapter until the end of September.  I had also thought that I could end at Chapter 12 or 13 and found myself with Chapter 14 being the last chapter.  I still have a lot of editing and more than a little discouragement ahead no doubt. The Last Chapter which I have had in my mind since the beginning still has some rough spots to fix so my work is no where near an end. No doubt no one will read this unless I do all that AND manage to get published.  I guess life is like that, never quite what you plan, with many twists and a few unexpected curve balls.

About joanneeddy

Writer living in North Carolina. Originally from upstate New York. I love my family, my community, and my friends, and embrace 'living deliberately' in the world, trying to make a difference. I have written an as yet unpublished book, The Call, an epic fantasy with historical fiction and folklore elements. My blog is for other writers, for those who love a good read, and for all who, like me, are looking to find and live their call.
